Producer
We are looking for new or established playwrights to submit their one-act plays for our second annual Playwrights Festival. To be eligible to enter please follow the below rules:
Payment is via Square and we can accept all major credit cards. We do not issue waivers for the fee and will not consider your play without payment. You will receive an email confirming full receipt once we receive both the plays and the fee.

Winners of our playwright festival receive a free subscription to Playwright Helper
Submission of your play allows Brewster Theater Company the right to perform your work in 2023. If accepted, you also grant the right for us to film the show for archival purposes and use up to 10 seconds of it for promotional purposes in 2024.
To submit your play send us TWO (2) copies of your play in pdf format no later than May 1, 2023. We are requesting two copies of your play.

Winning plays will be performed on the weekend of September 22, 23, and 24th You will be notified by June 15th, 2023 of our decision.
Our first full-length production of 2023, "Three Turns at the Gun Hill Diner" by Larry Eckerle was brought to our stage as a result of his 2022 one-act selection, "How Long is Now?" Brewster Theater is committed to bringing more original works to our stages in the coming years.
