BTC Jr is Brewster Theater Company's youth theater program for students in grades 4–9. We believe every young person deserves a chance to discover the magic of live theater.

Students entering grades 4–9 in September 2026
Session Schedule
Monday–Friday, 9 AM–1 PM · Two weeks beginning August 10, 2026
Performances
Four performances on August 21, 22, and 23, 2026
BTC Jr. returns this summer with a two-week intensive experience, culminating in a full production of Shrek The Musical Jr! Sessions are held Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 1 PM for two weeks, beginning August 10, 2026. These immersive sessions include audition preparation, rehearsals (acting, singing, and dancing), and participating in the tech elements of our production! Our students will be valued — each one receiving their moment to shine on stage. Additionally, they will be engaged in a variety of activities each day.
What Students Experience
Audition Preparation
Students learn how to prepare and present themselves for auditions — a skill that lasts a lifetime.
Acting, Singing & Dancing
Immersive rehearsals covering all three disciplines of musical theater performance.
Tech & Production
Students participate in the technical elements of the production — lights, sound, and more.
A Moment to Shine
Every student is valued and receives their own moment in the spotlight on stage.
About the Program
BTC Jr gives young performers the opportunity to develop their skills in acting, singing, and dancing in a supportive, fun environment. Productions are fully staged with costumes, sets, and live performance for family and friends.
